Introducing Report Generation in Wonderflow



After identifying an important insight in Wonderflow's voice of customer platform, the next step is usually sharing it with stakeholders. For many teams, that means turning analysis results into slides, reports, or presentations that can be reviewed and discussed across the business.
For most insight professionals, this means rebuilding slides from scratch, taking screenshots, reformatting outputs, and spending hours turning data into a narrative that was already there. Our new report generation is designed to simplify that process.
Most teams using a consumer insights platform have access to more data than ever. The challenge is often turning analytical findings into reports and presentations that stakeholders can use. Every minute spent reformatting a chart or re-typing a finding is a minute not spent on the next question, the next product decision, or the next strategic recommendation.
A consumer insights manager runs an analysis in Wonderflow's customer insights platform, identifies a sentiment dip through customer sentiment analysis linked to a specific product variant, in a key market, and needs to share the finding with the product team. The next step often involves copying the insights into slides, capturing screenshots, and rewriting summaries and key points for presentations and different audiences. Preparing the presentation can take longer than expected, creating additional work before the team can review and act on the findings.
For many CMI, product, and VoC teams, this process is part of everyday work. However, the manual effort involved in preparing and sharing findings can delay discussions and slow the distribution of insights across teams.
In a world where consumer feedback arrives continuously and teams rely on voice of the customer tools, the ability to move from insight to stakeholder alignment quickly is a competitive advantage. The time spent preparing presentations is time that cannot be spent on additional analysis, stakeholder discussions, or follow-up investigations.

Wonderflow's new Report Generation feature streamlines the process of turning analysis into presentations. Teams can generate presentation-ready reports directly from their analysis without manually recreating content in separate tools.
You can generate reports by simply opening any Board in Wonderflow through the Actions menu. Select Generate report to create a PPTX or PDF based on the analysis in the Board. Reports are generated in the background and the users receive an email notification when the report is ready to download, allowing you to continue working without interruption.
Tip: You can adjust the number of slides to match the audience and use case. For example, a leadership update may require only a few slides, while a category review may benefit from a more detailed presentation.
Report generation is also available in AI Chat. Once a conversation contains at least one message, the Generate report button appears in the chat toolbar. Selecting it creates a presentation based on the content of the conversation, including the questions explored, findings identified, and conclusions discussed.
This is useful for teams that use AI Chat to investigate product, category, or customer feedback analysis topics before sharing findings with a broader group. These conversations can be converted into presentation-ready reports without manually recreating the content in a separate tool.

Reports are generated asynchronously, allowing users to continue working while the file is being prepared. You simply submit the request and move on, there is no need to keep the report page open, watch a progress bar or wait for the export process to finish.
All generated reports, whether created from Boards or AI Chat conversations, are listed in the Artifact Section. Each report includes a status indicator, such as Pending or Completed. Once generation is complete, the report can be downloaded directly from the list using a link.
This provides teams a central and organized location for tracking and managing generated reports and checking their status, without hunting through email threads or download folders.
When a report is ready, Wonderflow sends an email notification with a direct download link. Users can access the report without returning to the platform to check its status manually. The insight finds the analyst and from there, forward it, present it, or share it directly with stakeholders.
Generated reports can be customized with your organization's logo, colors, and fonts, helping them align with existing presentation templates and brand guidelines. It looks like a professional deliverable from your team.
This can be particularly useful for teams that regularly share findings with senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, or external partners, signaling your brand identity and credibility.
