Text analysis: how to train a computer to do it
Published on — Written by Wonderflow

If you follow our blog you might have realized the great amount of benefits companies can find using NLP – a technology that allows text analysis. In this post, for example, our CEO Riccardo Osti explains the difference between Social Media Learning and NLP, allowing us to realize how deep this technology may go in order to interpret and analyze texts.
However, you might wonder: how does this technology works, and how can we teach a machine to make text analysis?
In today’s video I’ve invited Anna Feltraco, a Linguistic Expert at Wonderflow, to explain you how machines can make text analysis. After her explanation, you’ll be able to understand how deep a machine can go in extracting meaning from text sentences, and how it can avoid biases, providing really accurate results.
The mechanisms she explains are what make NLP the best way to analyse tons of texts within a few minutes, and extract meaning from it.
Can you think of possible solutions this powerful tool can help humans with?
