Employee Spotlight: Jana Pilato, Consumer Insights Specialist & Proud Mom

Part of our success and growth has been mainly due to the people. So, we’re excited to feature another hard-working member in our Employee Spotlight of the month!
In this fun interview, we played 11 questions (including bonus) with Jana Pilato, who has been a member of the New Business Team for nearly 10 months.
Born in Connecticut, the U.S., she has also lived in San Diego, London, Munich and now finds herself in Milano for the second time.
Read on to learn more about her impactful role as well as her interesting quips and quirks.
It’s a mix between a lot of espresso and my kid. I want to be the best possible example for him, whether it be in my career, personal life, or building gravity-defying Hot Wheels tracks.
I’m also so fortunate that my colleagues aren’t just colleagues; they are friends who I happily hang out with even after 6 pm.
I am part of the New Business team, which does exactly what it says — brings in new businesses.
Although we work with some inbound leads, we mostly contact companies that have never heard of us before to explain why we’re awesome and should be working with us.
Building rapport is essential in the first steps of the client journey, which is why I really enjoy being the first point of contact and doing what I can to ensure our clients are going to have the best possible experience with Wonderflow.

I feel like this is a trick question. I would never want to be anywhere but Wonderflow, of course!
I recently moved to the Navigli district, and when I showed my son where his new school would be, he said, “Mama, when you get me at school, we can go right to aperitivo.” (He’s 5.)

I’m American, so at some point growing up, I ate fettuccine Alfredo and was led to believe it was an Italian delicacy.
Funniest because “the smartest” would be a real stretch for me.
Trash music.
If you put kiwis in a bag with apples, they ripen faster. Not sure if this is “weird,” but it blew my mind.
