Employee Spotlight: Claudia Mengasini, Sr. Project Manager & Netflix Fan
Published on — Written by Wonderflow

Part of our recent achievements and growth has been mainly due to the people. So, we’re excited to feature another hard-working member in our Employee Spotlight of the month.
We played 11 questions with long-time team member Claudia Mengasini, our Senior Project Manager of the Project Management (PM) team, and for nearly six years! She started in 2015 as Head of Analysis, which is similar to her current role.
Moreover, born and raised in Rome, Claudia moved to Milan when 25. She studied foreign languages in high school and statistics at Università di Roma, La Sapienza. Mathematics and languages have always been her passion growing up.
Additionally, her main hobby is craft-making, like quilling or creating tiny objects with resin. She also enjoys the outdoors, like camping, which influenced her to be part of the girl scouts for 20 years.
Read on to know more about our colleague who has practically been with us since day one!

I like my job! In general, I love working and seeing progress every day to reach the final goal. I’m also lucky to be part of a stimulating company that breaks from the routine and a nice team that is always willing to help anybody with a smile.
I’m a Project Manager. I’m responsible for planning, organizing, and completing specific projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. I’m directly in contact with some of our clients, especially regarding the data preparation phases.
I’m also responsible for the new requests that come from our clients. My task is to evaluate them with the rest of the team and ensure they’re satisfied.
Precise, creative, and caring.
Right now, I cannot imagine my career without Wonderflow. If I have to, I think that I would choose another job where I can add my skills, prove who I am, and where I can learn/improve.
I started working as a secretary in a training-consulting company in Rome. During that period, I had learned many things about working life (and I had also earned my bachelor’s degree).
I liked that job, but I knew that I needed to change my career. For this reason, I quitted, and luckily I found Wonderflow a few months later.

“A precise thing is a well-made thing.”
It is not really advice, but I think about it every time I need to do something. The first time I heard it was about a “tripod lashing” during a scout camp. My scoutmaster then said this advice and I found it true. From that moment, I have applied it to anything and everything I do.
Sitcoms!!! My husband makes fun of the fact that, in his opinion, I have seen all the sitcoms available on Netflix.
To high school! It was a weird period of my life, but one of the best ones, even if I didn’t know.
And, of course, to my wedding and the day when my daughter was born.
I saw Wonderflow grow day by day. If I look back on my first days here, everything was different: the Wonderboard, the people, the technology… the common thing that I can see is the enthusiasm and desire to grow more, fix more challenging objectives, and reach them.
Talking about people, when I started we were six people in total, now we are a lot more. 🙂
Be yourself always, and do not be shy. Don’t be scared to say what you think, for it could be interesting for someone else.
